Our associate, Ilana M. Forbes, recently defeated a multi-million dollar trade secrets claim. The plaintiff asserted that our client had violated a non-disclosure agreement, stolen the plaintiff's technology, and used it to go into business with the plaintiff's competitor. Working closely with our client, Ilana made a live presentation to the plaintiff's attorneys, demonstrating the technology in question and showing that our client is not using the plaintiff's alleged trade secrets. Shortly after Ilana's demonstration, the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case.
