Bob Slobig helped one of our clients settle an eminent domain suit. Prior
to our involvement, the most the condemnor would offer as compensation for
the property was $1,353,500. We challenged the validity of the eminent
domain claim and ultimately persuaded the condemnor to take less of the
client's land, while paying our client considerably more money, $1,800,000.
